The following factors are taken into account:
size, subject, amount of detail, support, whether completed on location or at a distance, and medium
(tempera, oil, acrylic, washable).

Works smaller than 3 sq.m., for example a small panel, a door or wardrobe doors, are treated as a whole unit. For larger sizes prices are based on the square metres of the area to be
painted. For cornices, stuccoes, skirting boards or dados less than 50 cm. high prices are based on linear metres.

We can either work "together" to find the decoration that best suits your home, or I can make suggestions. I often develop ideas based on the wishes of the client and can help you find the best possible design -
alternatively, you can give me carte blanche…

A painting can have variable amounts of detail.
Scenic backdrops
or very detailed paintings.
Either will undoubtedly enhance your surroundings.

If suitable for the space to be decorated or painted, a canvas support has the most advantages. It can be easily hung on the wall, looks perfect and can also be moved to another setting.

Send a photo of the wall to be decorated and your requirements by email or call me on the numberslisted at the bottom of the page. The preliminary sketch, drawn to scale,in watercolour on A3 size paper, is charged separately at extra cost but is deductible from
the total cost of the completed project. For works completed directly on location, the additional travel and lodging expenses will be added to the total cost.
For works completed at a distance the postage and packaging expenses will be added.

The preliminary sketch is fundamental in the success of a piece of work. The final work is shaped through the preliminary sketch - the choice of what is to be painted, which colours are to be used, balancing the composition, the various levels of depth… I always begin with a rough sketch that
allows me to get an idea of the whole piece. Once I've found a pleasing balance I make detailed studies of the various subjects I want to include in the composition and then concentrate on the details.
